Local aesthetic dermatology clinic Skin + Aesthetics has announced a free, monthly acne clinic. In order to give back to those who suffer from acne but are unable to afford treatment due to not having insurance or having a high deductible, the clinic will open up appointments on one Saturday each month for those who meet certain requirements. 

Skin + Aesthetics will also be partnering with local pharmacies Family Wellness and Algood Family Pharmacy to offer the lowest cost possible on prescription medications.

“We know all too well that how our skin looks truly does impact every aspect of our lives and we feel that your access to healthy, clear skin shouldn’t be only dependent on your bank account or insurance policy,” said Skin + Aesthetics owner Blakelee Paige Smith MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, NP-C. “When I chose the tagline of “Love your skin” for my clinic, I meant it wholeheartedly and I am so excited to be able to give back to the Upper Cumberland, after all of the incredible love and support it has shown Skin + Aesthetics over the past year.”

Patients will meet one-on-one with S+A owner and dual board certified nurse practitioner Blakelee Paige Smith to formulate a realistic and cost-effective treatment plan to tackle your acne for free of charge and without gimmicks.  She will go over your medical history and find a plan that will be both safe and effective, while also staying within your specific set budget for prescription medications by finding the most cost-effective options by partnering with local pharmacies.
